When we originally first arrived to look at this job we knew it would be an interesting challenge.
This derelict was a large, two and a half storey construction, part granite, part brick built with about one third of the west edifice already collapsed.
After obtaining all the necessary planning approvals we set about demolishing the unstable parts of the building and removed what was left of the original roof. We then began reconstructing as per the architects/engineers plans
The project took around a year to complete but by the time we had finished we had created a very spacious, large country home spread over 3 floors with large balconies taking advantage of the spectacular views and at ground level a beautiful courtyard.
